The 'New Rules' singer promises she will deliver a 'crazy' and 'extravagant' performance when she takes the stage at the Olimpiyskiy National Sports complex in Kiev, Ukraine on May 26.

AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa has promised to get soccer fans dancing after signing up to perform at the 2018 UEFA Champions League final. The British star will perform at the Olimpiyskiy National Sports complex in Kiev, Ukraine before the huge clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid on May 26.

Dua, 22, is teaming up with Pepsi, one of the sponsors of Europe's showpiece soccer event, for her pre-game show. After the announcement she will entertain fans at the final, the "New Rules" singer told the Press Association, "I'm really excited to have the opportunity to do something different, something outside the box, something I guess I don't get to do on my own shows."

She added, "It's quite a larger scale, it's a bigger stage, so I think it's going to be lots of fun. I do want to keep it as a surprise but I want to get the craziest of football fans dancing. There'll be a whole lot of girl power there so it'll be a mix."

Dua confessed she's not much of a soccer lover herself, having not enjoyed the game at school, but said her dad and brother follow Arsenal. She did however, promise a "crazy" and "extravagant" set for fans.

One other popstar who may be at the final is Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, as her boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain plays for Liverpool. He will not take the field in Ukraine however, after suffering an injury while playing for his team in the semi-final.

Past acts who have performed at Champions League finals include Alicia Keys and the Black Eyed Peas. The latter were criticized by fans after the clean up following their set at last year's final delayed the kick-off.
