AceShowbiz - Pearl Jam stars Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament regrouped Seattle grunge supergroup Mother Love Bone for the first time in eight years at a benefit concert over the weekend. The rockers joined Bruce Fairweather and drummer Greg Gilmore for a 15-song set at Seattle's Neptune Theatre on Saturday night, May 5.

Singers Shawn Smith and Ohm Johari stepped in for late singer Andrew Wood, who died in 1990 following a heroin overdose.

Mother Love Bone previously reunited in April 2010 for a performance at Seattle's Showbox.

"It's so touching for the band, for all of us, to have you guys care about these songs still," Gossard told the crowd during Saturday's show.
