Sleeping Beauty, and Dickinson will serve as her love interest in the film, replacing Brenton Thwaites, who was forced to pull out of the sequel due to a scheduling conflict with his TV show "Titans".

Michelle Pfeiffer is also in negotiations to take on the role of the prince's mother, while Angelina Jolie will return as the titular character. Ed Skrein will also appear as one of the the villains in the film, which will be directed by "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" helmer Joachim Ronning.
