AceShowbiz - It seems like Deadpool a.k.a. Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) is taking the advice from Tony Stark to "go bother Prof. X." The Merc with the Mouth is seen being an X-Men trainee in a new TV spot for upcoming "Deadpool 2" after he was mercilessly rejected to join the Avengers.

The footage sees Deadpool roaming around what looks like The X-Mansion in wheelchair as Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) encourages him to join the X-Men. "You have a good heart. With training, you can be X-Men," he tells Deadpool. However, the latter doubts himself, saying that he's "not X-Men material at all" because "I'm not even a virgin."

He may not want to join X-Men at first, but with Cable (Josh Brolin) being around and threatening to kill the mysterios "kid" (Julian Dennison), he seems to have been giving that idea a try. Later, Deadpool, donning a half-cut X-Men jersey over his usual outfit, and his X-Force team can be seen trying to save Julian's character from Cable.

"I ain't letting Cable kill this kid. But I can't do this alone," Deadpool says, before announcing, "I'm an X-Men." Briana Hildebrand's Negasonic Teenage Warhead quickly corrects him, "Trainee!" to which Deadpool responds, "Shut it!"

Somewhere in the footage, Cable is seen fighting Deadpool before he whispers to the latter, "You're no hero, you're just a clown dressed up as a toy."

Directed by David Leitch based on the script by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick and Reynolds, "Deadpool 2" follows the titular character, who forms a group called X-Force to protect a young mutant from Cable. X-Force team includes Zazie Beetz's Neena Thurman / Domino, Hildebrand's Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Jack Kesy's Black Tom Cassidy, Kapicic's Colossus, Terry Crews' Bedlam, Lewis Tan's Shatterstar, Bill Skarsgard's Zeitgeist and Rob Delaney's Peter. Leslie Uggams and Karan Soni will reprise their roles as Blind Al and taxi driver Dopinder, respectively.

In addition to co-writing, Reynolds serves as producer alongside Simon Kinberg and Lauren Shuler Donner.

"Deadpool 2" will be released on May 18 in the United States.
