AceShowbiz - Harrison Ford is getting animated for the first time. The "Star Wars" icon has signed up to front the cast of "The Secret Life Of Pets" sequel, which will also include Tiffany Haddish, Patton Oswalt, and Nick Kroll.
"Despicable Me" director Chris Renaud will return to take charge of the project, which is scheduled to hit cinemas in June, 2019.
Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Eric Stonestreet, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, and Bobby Moynihan will also return to voice their characters from the first movie.
Sources tell Deadline that Oswalt will replace disgraced comic Louis C.K. in the film. The comedian has lost a series of deals after he apologised for his behaviour following claims he had masturbated in front of women.
