A source tells Radar Online, "Ryan and Mackenzie are off and on." The source continues saying that Mackenzie's mother is "afraid" to intervene because Mackenzie has allegedly "threatened to take Hudson [Mackenzie's son with ex-husband Zachary Stevens] away from her before."

Ryan's baby mama Maci Bookout also echoes the rumor, claiming that people have told her the former is not sober.
Ryan and Mackenzie indeed have gone through a lot. Back in March, Ryan was arrested on heroin-related charge just one day after Mackenzie announced that she and Ryan are expecting their first child, a baby boy to be named Jagger, together.
The 30-year-old was busted by Red Bank Police Department at his house in Tennessee, according to Law enforcement sources. According to a local docket of recent bookings, his charge was listed as "petition to revoke (simple possession of heroin)."
It was reported that Ryan was booked when police executed a warrant for violating probation. Ryan was "held on $5,000 bond," according to a spokesperson for Hamilton County Jail. The spokesperson continued, "He was bonded out at 10:15 P.M."
