AceShowbiz - Kenya Moore's wish of having a child will come true after a long wait. During "The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Reunion Part 1" on Sunday night, April 8, the reality star revealed her pregnancy after Andy Cohen inquired if a baby was on the way.

She said, "We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year." The 47-year-old star even did not believe what she said, adding, "Oh my God, I said that!"

Andy later asked how far along she was, to which Kenya replied, "I don't want to talk about the details because I'm still very nervous about everything so I want to get past a safe place." When asked if she either wanted a baby boy or a baby girl, she said, "I want a healthy baby."

Kenya and businessman/restaurant owner Marc Daly met through mutual friend Chef Roble Ali in June 2016 and they started dating in December the same year. She gushed about how she enjoyed her first date with Marc, saying, "I've never experienced a first date like this before. You know when you meet people, and you like them or have good chemistry with them but you don't feel like the world has changed? I felt like the earth moved after our first date."

They then got married in a romantic sunset ceremony on a St. Lucia beach last June. At that time, she told PEOPLE, "We both want to start a family and soon-like, right away. We both want a child."

In a January "RHOA" after show, Kenya also shared about her and Marc's eagerness to expand their family. She said, "We have been really upfront about wanting to expand our family, and we have definitely been taking the proper steps to try to make that happen." In an interview with E! News, she admitted that she wished to welcome their first child within the year, saying, "I'm hopeful that within the year, I'll have a little one running around."
