Produced by Sad Money, the uptempo song finds the duo addressing the vulnerable side of being in a new relationship.

AceShowbiz - Rookie singer Sabrina Claudio joins forces with Khalid on a new song titled "Don't Let Me Down". Produced by Sad Money, the sultry track was first released on Beats 1 on Wednesday, April 4. The song follows up Sabrina's enticing bedroom ballad "All to You".

Co-written by both Sabrina and Khalid, the uptempo song finds the duo addressing the vulnerable side of being in a new relationship. The "American Teen" singer can be heard crooning seamlessly alongside Sabrina as they harmonize throughout the track, exposing their emotions.

"Don't let me down/ I told you things about me/ Don't let me down/ I let you put your arms around me," they sing. " 'Cause love is a waste of time if you do and I don't do this right/ Don't let me down/ And I'll keep you around."

In an interview with Zane Lowe, the songstress said of their collaborative track, "It's about showing someone the vulnerable side of you and asking them, no matter what you do, just don't prove me right--don't give me a reason to be guarded again."

The Miami native also dished on how the collaboration happened. She admitted that she is a picky person when it comes to choosing a collaborator, but she believed that Khalid was a perfect fit for the record.

"I just sent him the song over text and I was like, 'Tell me what you think. Honestly, I hear your voice on this. If you're willing to jump on it I'd be honored,' " she recalled. "So he came to the studio the next day I think and wrote his verse, up in the booth for a good hour, perfected it and it was done."

"Don't Let Me Down" is the second single off Sabrina's upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released sometime this year.
