AceShowbiz - It's finally here! Cardi B has revealed the release date as well as the cover art for her long-awaited debut album "Invasion of Privacy". The female emcee took to Instagram on Monday, March 26 to share the good news to her fans.

The cover art finds Cardi rocking a checkered black-and-white outfit which she teams with white-rimmed sunglasses, bold purple lipstick and yellow hair. She is seen sitting on a yellow chair while licking her lips. "My album cover !!! LADIES AND GENTS ! My album INVASION OF PRIVACY will be out next week April 6!!!!!!" she captioned it.

Fans of Cardi are surely overjoyed after hearing the news, as the raptress kept delaying the release date of her album before. The album was initially expected to be released in October last year, but it was delayed as she wasn't ready to release it. Taking to Twitter, she shared that she was pressured as none of her songs were qualified for her album.

"I have a lot of pressure on me. I have songs stashed up. I just don't think they qualified for my album," she wrote on the micro-blogging site. "Sometimes I think it's ready sometimes I think it's not so I'm going to take my time till it's right."

The delay of her album prompted haters to accuse her of postponing its release date for Nicki Minaj, but she quickly hit back at them. Replying to an Instagram user, she wrote, "waiting for what...? what is that going to do for me, and imma release my s**t very soon."

She later added, "I don't think those songs wheee album worthy. That's why if you see my IG story I'm on the studio every day working on my s**t sooo... what's your point? Are you going to buy my album lil b***h?"
