The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor also appears in a political spoof of his NBC hit drama 'This Is Us' which is titled 'This Is U.S.'

AceShowbiz - This week's host on "Saturday Night Live" was Emmy-winning actor Sterling K. Brown, who revealed during his emotional monologue that the K stands for Kathleen. The "This Is Us" actor vowed to not get overwhelmed while hosting the Saturday, March 10 episode despite being known for his emotional acting as Randall on the NBC drama. However, a few minutes into his monologue, the "Black Panther" star could be seen in the verge of breaking down in tears, prompting laughter from the audience.

The cold open that night took on the most controversial thing this week, "The Bachelor" finale. Cecily Strong's Becca K opened the skit, telling the camera that she was excited to see the Bachelor. Things went political when it was revealed that Kate McKinnon's special counsel Robert Mueller was the Bachelor.

"The reality is that I don't think I can give you everything that you want right now," Kate said as Mueller. Cecily's Becca responded, "Collusion is literally the only thing I've been looking forward to for the past year. I was ready, Bob. I was ready to do the damn thing."

Sterling later traded his role as Randall for the role of U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson in a political parody of "This Is Us". Titled "This Is U.S.", the commercial ad featured a new Big Three in the U.S. government, Sterling's Carson, Pete Davidson's Jared Kushner and Aidy Bryant's secretary Sarah Huckabee. At one point, Aidy's Sarah, who was crying in front of the urns of ex-Trump administration officials Sean Spicer, Anthony Scaramucci and Hope Hicks, was being confronted by Kate, who reprised her take on Kallyane Conway. The series was described as something that made its viewers laugh "through tears, expect without the laughing."

Sterling also revealed a deleted scene of "Black Panther" which saw T'Challa (Chris Redd) in the dream realm of Djalia. He met his long-dead great, great grandfather T'Kana (Sterling) and his Uncle M'Butu (Keenan Thompson), who was grilling cheeseburgers. "Yeah for some reason I'm a warthog, probably because I'm round and friendly," Keenan's character said after T'Kana told T'Challa that sometimes he took the form of spirit animal, in his case he's a panther. Sterling was seen almost breaking his character when M'Butu ate his own still-frozen cheeseburger.
