The 'Bonnie and Clyde' stars are reportedly tapped to announce the winner of Best Picture Award at the upcoming ceremony which is set to take place on Sunday, March 4.

AceShowbiz - The Academy is apparently going to give Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway a second chance at presenting the biggest prize of the night at the annual Academy Awards. The two movie vets may get a chance to make amend following last year's snafu as they are reportedly set to present Best Picture again at this year's ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, March 4.

According to TMZ which first reported the news, the "Bonnie and Clyde" stars recently showed up at the Dolby Theatre, where the event will be held, to rehearse their part. They reportedly hit the stage very quickly to run through their bit.

Warren allegedly will say, "Presenting is better the second time around," and Beatty follows it up with, "The winner is 'Gone with the Wind'." They reportedly went through their lines twice, but the writers are still putting finishing touches on their lines.

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway gained a lot of attention during last year's Oscars for the wrong reason, after they read the wrong movie as the winner of Best Picture. They announced "La La Land" as the winner, while it was supposed to be "Moonlight".

Actually, it wasn't all their fault since they got the wrong card. Beatty was confused by what he saw on the card, "so he let her read the winner." Host Jimmy Kimmel jokingly commented on Beatty's move at the time, "In other words, Clyde threw Bonnie under the bus. Which, I have to be honest, is one of the slickest moves I've ever seen."

Kimmel will return as the host for the 90th Academy Awards. It will air live on ABC from 8 P.M. ET. To make sure the envelope mix-up won't happen again, the Academy has implemented new procedures that include making sure the announcers get the correct category envelope before stepping onto the stage. In addition to two partners stationed on either side of the Oscars stage, there will be a third balloting partner who will have all winner envelopes in their possession and join Oscar producers inside the show's control room "as a safety control."
