Find Out Why Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Split
Celebrity

Being apart for most of the times ends their marriage as Jennifer loves being in L.A., while Justin is comfortable with his life in New York, multiple sources claim.

AceShowbiz - The separation between Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux after two years and a half of marriage comes as a surprise for most people. As people wonder what leads them to split, it turns out that being apart for most of the times ends their marriage.

A source tells Page Six that "Jennifer is more comfortable in Los Angeles with her close-knit group of friends" because she "couldn't deal with the paparazzi and the pokey apartment" in New York. However, Justin, who owns a place in Greenwich Village, "doesn't feel as at home in L.A., nor with Jennifer's friends, he loves New York, and the edgier crowd in the city."

"He much prefers being [in New York] and that's been a major issue for them for a long time," claims another source to Entertainment Tonight. "Justin has a very diverse friend group, and he likes that they're not all 'in the industry.' He's friends with people in the restaurant world, writers, comedians, artists, tattoo artists. It's an eclectic group and he doesn't have that type of network in LA."

The former couple allegedly lives a vastly different life when it comes to New York. While Justin "can hop on his [motorcycle], walk in the neighborhood, hang at a bar and all that without bothered," Jennifer can't do the same because "the paparazzi are all over her."

However, it's not like they don't try to overcome the issue as Justin reportedly tried hard to make his wife comfortable in New York. "He even negotiated with the paps to make a deal that they would only shoot her once per day and then leave her alone," the source explains. "He also agreed to move out of his apartment, which he loves."

The pair once moved into an apartment in the West Village, but things didn't seem to work out. There was no garage and paparazzi started to shop-waiting at a small public park located across the street which definitely didn't make anything better for the former "Friends" actress.

"There was the construction, which is obviously a nuisance, but what really pissed off the neighbors was just the constant commotion outside their door all the time with the photographers," the source says. "It made for an awkward living situation for Jen and Justin because they knew the neighbors weren't happy." There was one time when a neighborhood allegedly covered Justin's motorcyle in slices of bologna, which the source dubs "the bologna incident."

Additionally, Justin is said to not give up his apartment in Greenwich Village. He would stay there whenever he had to return to the city for work, while Jennifer would prefer to stay at luxury hotels instead. "She rarely stayed at his place, she preferred hotels," says the source. "Justin, on the other hand, did not like staying at hotels -- especially uptown. He eventually convinced her to at least stay in hotels with him downtown, like the Bowery hotel."

The source concludes, "As they spent more and more time apart, their problems became bigger. He's very focused on himself and his craft. And Jen is not the easygoing girl she wants the public to think she is. She isn't as happy, and she is far more complicated."
