AceShowbiz - Paris Hilton is gearing up for her comeback to the music industry. The 36-year-old hotel heiress has been sharing on Instagram photo teasers for her new single "I Need You". And the latest photo teaser which was posted on February 12 saw Paris channeling Angela from "American Beauty".
In the snap, Paris was seen rocking vintage-inspired, wavy curls as she lay naked on a bed of roses. A bunch of flowers were strategically placed over her private goods. Paris also placed her hands on her cleavage, flaunting her diamond ring. "2 Days till #INeedYou," so she captioned the racy pic.
"I Need You" is the first single that Paris released in 12 years. The single will be a follow-up to her debut track "Stars Are Blind", which was released on June 5, 2006. The mid-tempo reggae song was well received by music critics, peaking at No. 18 on Billboard Hot 100 and topped Hot Dance Club chart.
The release of "Stars Are Blind" was accompanied by a music video, which featured many images of her walking and rolling around on the beach with her lover. "Shooting the music video was so much fun, and I had the best time doing it, and was so proud when it came out and everyone loved it so much," Paris said of shooting the visuals, which was directed by Chris Applebaum.
Unlike the single, the music video for the track received negative reviews from music critics. It was even listed as one of the 50 worst videos of all time by NME.
"So this is what you can do when your daddy has buckets of money," Rebecca Shiller of NME stated. "Pay someone to film you roll around in a bikini in the sand with a guy in order to distract us from the fact that you've been auto-tuned (quite poorly) to high heaven."
