Meghan Markle is breaking another British royal family tradition. Along with her fiance Prince Harry, the former "Suits" star made their first official evening together at the Endeavor Fund Awards on Thursday, February 1 in London where she took the podium for her first-ever royal speech.

Meghan looked stunning in chic pantsuit from Alexander McQueen which she teamed with a white blouse, velvet black heels and a matching purse. She wore her hair down and sported natural-looking makeup for the event. Meanwhile, Harry opted for a smart blue suit and a pair of black shoes.

At the event, which celebrated the achievements of injured and sick servicemen and women who have taken part in sporting and adventure challenges over the last year, Meghan proved that she's very well-suited to being a royal as she gave her first royal speech. "I'm truly privileged to be here," the 36-year-old said confidently.

Alongside Neil Heritage, she later handed out the Celebrating Excellence Award to Daniel Claricoates, a Royal Marine veteran who has battled post-traumatic stress and "now works with children, assisting them to foster their own spirit of adventure through the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards Team."

Prince Harry also presented an award that night. "You guys are truly awesome and society needs every single one of you, and it’s up to every single one of us in this room to provide those opportunities for you," the British royal said before giving out the Henry Worsley Award to Sean Gane, who overcame serious injuries to take on a dog-sledding expedition to Sweden.

The official account of Kensington Palace shared a photo of Harry and Meghan with the Endeavour Fund Award nominees and winners. "Congratulations to all of tonight's @EndeavourFund Award nominees and winners," so it wrote in the caption.
