The latest episode of the FOX series' season 3 sees Lucifer fighting some guys from Korean Power gang while 'Lucifer', a song from K-Pop group SHINee, epically played at the background.

Most people won't immediately think of K-Pop when they heard the word "Lucifer". However, for those who listen to Korean songs a lot, the word may remind them of one of hit songs by K-POP act SHINee. And when the song was suddenly played in a recent episode of FOX's "Lucifer" which aired on Monday, January 29, fans were surprised.
The FOX series' 13th episode, titled "Til Death Do Us Part", sees Lucifer (Tom Ellis) confronting Korean Power gang in what looks like a bar in attempt to help Chloe solving her latest murder case of June Lee, whose laptop happened to have the secret formula to K Pop, the latest and best brand of ecstasy to hit Los Angeles, on it.
Lucifer was seen entering the bar and greeting in broken Korean, before two men came out. Things later got intense as he got into a fight with the men. Further intensifying the fighting scene, SHINee's "Lucifer" was played at the background, serving as a perfect choice for the series, both in terms of the beat and the lyrics.
Fans of the South Korean group quickly noticed the hilarious crossover and took it to Twitter to share the unexpected nod. "GUYS IN FUCKJGUJF SCREAMIG I WAS JUS SITTING HERE WATCHING LUCIFER AND MINDING MY BUSINESS ANd SHINEE STARTED PLAYING," a fan wrote on the micro-blogging site.

"THEY PLAYED SHINEE'S LUCIFER ON LUCIFER THE TV SHOW IM DYING," another fan tweeted, not being able to hide her excitement. Similarly, another fan said, "IM LEGIT CRYING I WASNT EVEN INTENTIONALLY WATCHING LUCIFER AND THAT SONG CAME ON. I JUMPED OUT OF MY SEAT SO FAST AND TURNED IT UP GOD IM SO HAPPY #SHINee #LuciferOnFox."

This is not the first time "Lucifer" played a K-Pop song on its show. The series previously played CL's "MTBD" before. Meanwhile, other acts like Bangtan Boys a.k.a. BTS and Black Pink have also had their tracks featured in TV and film. BTS was previously sampled in a teaser for "Silicon Valley", while the latter had part of its song "As If It's Your Last" played in "Justice League".
