A month after Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova reportedly became parents to twins, the couple finally shared pictures of their new bundles of joy for the first time. Both Anna and Enrique took to Instagram on January 16 to share the pics.
Enrique was the first one to show off one half of his pride and joy. In the snap, the Spanish singer-songwriter was sweetly gazing at his baby, who's dressed in an adorable white-and-gray onesie, as he snuggled up to the baby. "My Sunshine," so he captioned the sweet pic.
An hour later, Anna shared a different pic with presumable the other twin. The picture saw the former professional tennis player kissing the baby on the cheek. She wrote the same caption, "My Sunshine."
The name of the babies are still unknown, but a source told Entertainment Tonight that the twins are named Nicholas and Lucy. "Their family and friends didn't even know," the insider said. "They had been preparing for a while to have kids and are over the moon."
"They spent a lot of time and money on their home to baby proof it," the insider continued, adding, "Privacy is their biggest thing, but Enrique wanted to share his love with the world. Both are very hands-on parents."
However, in an interview with Hola! Magazine, Enrique's mother Isabel Preysler clarified that Anna didn't intentionally try to keep her pregnancy a secret. According to the mother, being low-key is just Anna's way of life.
"Anna has not had to hide herself," Isabel told the Spanish publication, adding that Anna "leads a very simple life and is a homebody." She also revealed that Enrique felt very excited to be a father for the first time. "Enrique is extraordinary happy in these moment," she shared.
Enrique and Anna first met in 2001, when the Russian beauty appeared in Enrique's "Escape" music video. The two later began dating in the same year and briefly split in 2013. There's been speculation that the couple had already tied the knot, but neither of them has yet to confirm the rumors.
