AceShowbiz - Cardi B is continuing her success in 2017 into the new year. Just months after becoming the first solo female rapper in nearly 20 years to earn the top spot in Billboard Hot 100, the raptress continues to set milestones with her singles. Cardi has become the third musician and the first rapper to have her first three Hot 100 entries in the top 10 at the same time.
The 25-year-old female emcee currently has her songs "No Limit" with G-Eazy and A$AP Rocky at No.4, "MotorSports" with Migos and Nicki Minaj at No. 7 and debut song "Bodak Yellow" at No. 10. The only two musicians to share this feat are The Beatles and Ashanti. Her latest single, on the other hand, arrives at No. 14 on this week's chart.
Learning about her recent achievement, Cardi takes to Instagram to celebrate her success, sharing a hilarious clip where she is seen clad only in sweatpants and a bra. The short clip begins with the former stripper snapping her fingers and dancing excitedly in front of Christmas decorations.
"I'm very happy, like very motherf***ing happy, because you wanna know something?" she says in the clip. "I got three songs in the top ten. You know how that make a b***h feel? I know we're all God's children, but I think he loves me the most, you know what I'm saying?"
Along with the clip, she writes, "What a great way to start my year. Thank you Lord. Only you and I know how much I pray to you." She adds that these last few weeks have "been too much for me but my Lord always find a way to uplift me."
She then goes on expressing her gratitude to all the musicians and producers who have helped create her hit songs. "Thanks guys for showing my second single 'Bartier Cardi' some love," she continues, adding some heart-eyed, love and flexed biceps emojis. "I love you."
