AceShowbiz - Nicki Minaj is no stranger to speaking her mind about issues she has with the music industry and she does it once again. The Trinidad-born raptress recently took to her Instagram account to comment on iTunes' hip-hop/rap songs chart.
"It's a great time to be a white rapper in America, huh?" Nicki wrote in the caption of her now-deleted post. "These are the top 10 rap songs on US iTunes. S/O to Em and Post. Two of my faves. Congrats to Em on his new album. #Motorsport put dat thing in sport."

The post immediately sparked debate on social media. While many fans supported Nicki's decision to call attention to the white rappers, some others criticized her for singling out white rappers. A Twitter user took to her/his account to accuse the female emcee of racism. "So only because you are black you can be rapper?? This is so RACIST from Nicki Minaj. Nicki you are 'sometimes' huge idiot," so the user wrote.

Another user wrote, "Nicki Minaj gets salty about white when she herself bleaches her skin." One other similarly posted, "@NICKIMINAJ don't like to be called a female rapper but she made a reference about white rappers."

The reaction was intense enough that Nicki had to respond by updating the caption of her post, throwing shades at people who criticized her. "Blocking all u sensitive d**k riders. It IS a great time to be a white rapper in America," she wrote. "I wanna sign one for my new label. U know anyone? I speak my mothaf***in mind and if u don't like it gtfo my page d**k rida!"
Nicki followed it up by posting a now-deleted clip of J. Cole commenting on white musicians who infiltrate various music genres. "Be mad at this too," Nicki captioned the clip. "I work in the music business. Therefore, I post on new developments in the music industry. Whenever a black women speaks on ANYTHING she's labeled as 'mad,' 'angry,' and 'bitter.' "
