Armie Hammer reveals that his exposed private parts had to be digitally removed in his latest film 'Call Me by Your Name' after a wardrobe malfunction.

AceShowbiz - Thanks to a digital technology, audience won't have to see Armie Hammer's private parts in "Call Me By Your Name", which is currently playing in cinemas. In a recent interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM, the actor revealed that the shorts he wore in the film turned out to be a tad too short.
Hammer admitted, "There were a few times where they had to go back and digitally remove my balls from the movie. They were short shorts, what are you gonna do?" Director Luca Guadagnino vouched for Hammer's statement, saying, "I had to remove [them] digitally."
Cohen clarified, "Short shorts and big balls is what you're saying? Wow," to which "The Social Network" star responded, "My mom's going to love listening to this interview." Hammer and his co-star Michael Stuhlbarg quipped that his missing private parts were not entirely gone because they were just placed somewhere in the film. "If you look carefully at all the trees, it's not all peaches," said Hammer.
Aside from the wardrobe malfunction, Hammer also expressed about being comfortable getting intimate with Timothee Chalamet, his character's love interest. While filming, Guadagnino suggested that they rehearse their characters' kiss. The two simply went on with it, maybe even too much that the crew members had to pull them apart. They didn't even notice their director walked away. "We looked up and he was gone," said Chalamet.
Hammer also said he wasn't affected by nudity that he had to share with his co-star. "By the time it got to the point where we had maybe a few days of being nude, they would call 'cut' and someone would come and go, 'Do you want a robe?' I'd be like, 'No, I'm fine. I'm sure we'll be shooting again in a second,' and you just sit there in bed naked together," Hammer recalled.
The 31-year-old actor's state of comfort may be fueled by his close relationship with director Guadagnino. He made a close bond with the director and couldn't bear to let the project go. "Honestly, I think I had fallen in love with Luca," said Hammer. Guadagnino responded, "For me to make a movie, it's really creating a family. Having a very profound familial bond with the people I'm doing the movies with, where you literally and constantly fall in love with all of them."
