AceShowbiz - It seems Nebraska fans have to attend Jay-Z's "4:44" tour in another city. The "Empire State of Mind" rapper has canceled his "4:44" tour stop in the city due to technical difficulties. Jay-Z announced the cancellation in a statement, saying that the show staff couldn't get the screens up on time.
Jay-Z stated that he didn't want to do the show halfway as it was important to him. "Due to the scale of this production, we cannot get the screens up on time into the building in Nebraska," he said. "This tour is important to me to do it halfway. I have to cancel the show. Same with Fresno. I respect you guys too much to take the money and run. Peace, Hov."
The Brooklyn rapper was supposed to hold his Nebraska show on December 6 at Pinnacle Bank Area. However, now that the show has been canceled, ticket holders would be given refunds at point of purchase, while fans who bought the tickets through internet and phone would automatically be refunded.
Jay-Z kicked off his "4:44" tour on October 27 at Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Vic Mensa came as a special guest during the opening show. The tour will wrap up on December 21 at The Forum in Los Angeles.
During his stop in Cleveland on November 19, Jay-Z paused the show to tell a young girl that she could be a president. The 47-year-old rapper said that America is more sexist than racist now and told the girl that she had to believe that she had the potential to be the next president of the United States.
"At this very moment America is way more sexist than they are racist, but you young lady, you got the potential to be the next president of the United States. You believe that," he said, drawing a loud cheer from the concertgoers.

Jay-Z made another headline during his stop in Toronto on November 24. "The Story of O.J." hitmaker surprised the crowd by delivering a rendition of Drake's "Know Yourself". Drake also made an appearance at the show.
