The Merc with a Mouth depicter reveals a special holiday-themed poster for 'Deadpool 2' on his Twitter account which features most of the main characters, including Cable and Domino.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds definitely knows how to get his fans into holiday mood. The Deadpool portrayer shared a Thanksgiving-themed poster for "Deadpool 2" on Thursday, November 9 via Twitter with a caption that read, "Thanksgiving in our house is a glorious, non-stop car accident set to the music of cocaine."

The vintage style poster features all main characters of the upcoming sequel. It introduces two major characters Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz), and includes characters from the first film such as Blind Al (Leslie Uggams), Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), Dopinder (Karan Soni), Weasel (T.J. Miller) and Colossus (Stefan Kapicic). On the upper right side of the poster there is a picture of Stan Lee, which may serve as an example of Deadpool's tendency to break the fourth wall or simply as a way to pay the comic creator some respect.

Fox seems to go all out when they do a marketing campaign for the "Deadpool" franchise. Previously, the studio included a number of holiday-themed posters as well as tie-in TV spots for the first film which once aired during the premiere ABC's "The Bachelor". Their marketing campaigns were honored at the 45th Annual Clio Key Art Awards last year.

Only recently, before the sequel's poster was released, Deadpool took the spotlight in Good Housekeeping magazine cover, featuring his tips on how to celebrate the holidays. The magazine cover has Deadpool in red apron holding a tray of turkey. It also features funny article headings such as "Giving Your Family the Bird", "How to be a Holiday Supper Hero" and " 'Tis the Season to Put the 'Fun' back in Dysfunctional".

The cover spread, originally posted by the film's Instagram account, was reposted by Reynolds and Good Housekeeping. Reynolds captioned the image with "My secret to a proper stuffing? Gentle hands, heavy eye contact, and bundles of thyme." On the other hand, the magazine's Instagram account reposted along with its original caption, "We all have that special relative who shows up unexpectedly during the holidays... you're about to meet ours."

Fans of the R-rated film will undoubtedly agree that the marketing campaign of "Deadpool 2" was amusing and eye-catching. It also promised a film that would have a great deal of humor that makes cinemagoers check out Reynolds' return as the titular anti-hero.

"Deadpool 2" wrapped its filming last month and is aiming to hit U.S. theaters on June 1, 2018.
