AceShowbiz - Not only Eminem seemed to confirm the title of his upcoming album, but he also announced the potential lead track off his album. The Detroit rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday, November 8 to share a mysterious picture of a "Revival" prescription note, hinting that "Revival" might really be the title of his highly-anticipated album.
Written on the prescription note were the phrases, "Walk on Water" and "Take as needed." The note also led to a phone number and website, which are written on the bottom of the page. The picture made fans think that "Walk on Water" would be the lead track off his upcoming album.
The rumor that Eminem's new album would be called "Revival" sparked after his manager, Paul Rosenberg, posted on Instagram on October 25 a picture of him holding up Yelawolf's "Trial by Fire". He captioned the picture, "Look what arrived at the Shady offices today! @Yelawolf TRIAL BY FIRE comes out this Friday 10/27."
However, the album was not the one which caught people's attention. It was the giant advertisement for a drug called "Revival" that was seen in the background. Fans were suspicious of the advertisement as it featured Eminem's signature backwards "E." If the album title will really be called "Revival", it will follow his previous album titles, which are "Relapse" and "Recovery".
His forthcoming album aside, the 45-year-old rapper has been confirmed to appear in an upcoming episode of "Saturday Night Live" as musical guest. He will appear along with Chance The Rapper, who is booked as the host. There is a possibility that Eminem will perform his new song as he has already teased the track. The episode will air on November 18. It will mark Eminem's seventh appearance on the show. The rapper last appeared in 2013, performing "Berzerk" and "Survival".
Eminem has also unveiled a set of merchandises that was based on his hit song "Stan". The merchandises include a white hoodie, a T-shirt and a hat.
