As her husband, Kevin Hunter, 'is a key figure in her organization and he helped build Wendy's career,' she 'fears a divorce may ruin that empire they built together,' a source says.

AceShowbiz - Wendy Williams is "scared to death" of divorcing husband Kevin Hunter, who has been hit with rumors of having an affair with a much younger women for more than ten years. According to a new report from HollywoodLife.com, the 52-year-old talk show host doesn't want to split from her husband of two decades as it can "ruin" her empire.

"Wendy [Williams] fears divorce after sticking with her man for years and through multiple cheating scandals," a source tells the webloid. "She has been married to her husband, who is also her manager, for 20 years and the recent infidelity allegations are not the first. Wendy has stood by him during the prior rumors and she has vowed to do the same now."

Wendy allegedly "feels a divorce would be sad, difficult and challenging for the family." As "Kevin [Hunter] is a key figure in her organization and he helped build Wendy's career," she "fears a divorce may ruin that empire they built together. Everything she worked hard to achieve would be cut in half or more, which would devastate her," according the insider.

"After the most recent disturbing and damaging cheating rumors, Wendy is carefully considering the best way to move forward at this point," the source reveals, before adding, "but a divorce is unlikely."

News of Kevin having a decade-long affair with a massage therapist named Sharina Hudson emerged earlier last week. He allegedly bought his rumored mistress a $765,000 house just nine miles away from his family home with Wendy and their son Kevin Jr. Hunter. He was "in love" with both his wife and the 32-year-old massage therapist, according to a source.

"Kevin is with Sharina three or four times a week, often staying over," the source revealed. "They go to the gym together, they go out to restaurants together as if they're a normal couple. But then he goes home to Wendy as if everything is normal there, too. He's living a double life."

But "The Wendy Williams Show" host is standing by her hubby in the midst of the cheating rumors. Taking to her show, she told her audience, "You can believe what you want, but...I stand by my guy." She assured her fans, "All is well in Hunterville," adding, "Don't believe the hype and if there was hype, believe me you-I would let you know."
