The 'Game of Thrones' actor and his new fiancee officially announce their upcoming wedding in a British newspaper.

AceShowbiz - Kit Harington and Rose Leslie announced their engagement in the British way. Shortly after words started making round on the internet, the "Game of Thrones" actor and his co-star fiancee confirmed their upcoming wedding in British newspaper The Times.

The announcement was made under the names Mr K.C. (Kit Catesby) Harington and Miss R.E. (Rose Eleanor) Leslie. It read, "The engagement is announced between, Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire."

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, both 30, started dating in 2012 when she first joined "Game of Thrones" as Ygritte. The couple recently moved in together. "I've moved in with my other best friend Rose, so I'm very happy," he told James Corden. "It's going well, so she's got all sorts of ideas for the house."

The actor continued, "I said to her, cause she's moved into my house, 'Look darling, it's important that this is our space. That it feels like our space. That you haven't just moved into mine. Move anything you want around, change anything, chuck anything out.' "

It will be the first marriage for both of them. Following his engagement, Harington flashed a big smile when hitting the black carpet at the preview screening of his BBC show "Gunpowder" at BAFTA in London, England. He was joined by his co-stars Liv Tyler and Edward Holcroft.

Kit Harinton was last seen on the big screen in 2016's western thriller "Brimstone" which also starred Dakota Fanning and Guy Pearce. He will next play a lead role in "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, sharing screen with the likes of Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, Susan Sarandon, Kathy Bates, Jacob Tremblay and Thandie Newton.

Meanwhile, Rose Leslie is among the main cast of "The Good Wife" spin-off "The Good Fight". On the big screen, she was last seen in 2016's sci-fi horror "Morgan", joining Kate Mara, Anya Taylor-Joy, Boyd Holbrook, Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Paul Giamatti.
