"The Walking Dead" has unveiled a new teaser ahead of the premiere of upcoming season 8. The teaser offers a glimpse at the chilling, action packed war between Rick Grimes and his fellow survivors and Negan and the Saviors.

Rick says in voiceover, "The world is ours by right. We've come together for it, all of us." Maggie adds, "We need to keep our faith in each other." She keeps convincing others that bonding together is the only way to win the forthcoming war which can't be fight alone. "If we can hold onto that with everything we have, the future is ours. The world is ours," she exclaims as visions of zombies, tigers and blood splattered characters flicker on the screen.

The cast is celebrating the show's 100th episode by gracing the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly. One of the covers features Norman Reedus and Andrew Lincoln, both covered in red velvet. Another photo sees fellow cast members Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride and Lauren Cohan joining the two actors in the festivity.

During the interview for the magazine, the cast and the producers tease that the new season will be more intense than before. "It's a f**king in-your-face-action-packed IV of adrenaline," says Austin Amelio. "Season 7 was the ramp-up and now this is the blastoff. The stuff that's happening is insane!"

"We've been knocked clear off our feet," Gurira says, before adding that the pacing and intensity of the first four episodes is "like nothing before." Seth Gilliam offers an interesting description for the upcoming season 8, saying that it is "like a Schwarzenegger [Arnold Schwarzenegger] versus Stallone [Sylvester Stallone] action thing from the '80s." He further explains, "I think there are, like, 10 explosions an episode. Every time you turn around, somebody's shooting something or blowing something up. There's some serious action that I don't think we've seen on television since 'The A-Team' went off the air."
