The long-awaited album was leaked online by hackers just hours before the scheduled release time on September 18 at 6 P.M. KST.

Hours before the official release of Bangtan Boys a.k.a. BTS' highly-anticipated comeback album "Love Yourself 'Her' ", hackers leaked entire tracks off the set online. The hackers also logged into the FanCafe account of one of BTS' members, Jimin, to share a link with malicious content. "Model-like female students with S-lines waiting for you. Oppas, GO GO (link)," so it read.

Fans quickly notified BTS' agency Big Hit Entertainment, and the situation fortunately has been resolved. However, the damage is irreversible as the leaked songs have come up on YouTube. Some fans managed to hear the songs hours before the audios were taken down.

Unsurprisingly, fans were not happy with the leak. "Have respect for the BTS boys. They have worked so hard on this album. And someone decided to leak their album that's cruel," a fan tweeted, while another asked others not to "listen to the leak songs please please! We can wait though. BTS worked hard on this comeback so just wait. Hours left."

Similarly, another pissed fan snarked, "I hate being spoiled so much. Im happy I dont follow people who leaked or listened to the leaked album. They worked hard for it. It annoys me so much that people would leak the album. Can't you just wait and be patient? Have so respect to bts pls."

"Love Yourself 'Her' " is the boyband's first EP in their "Love Yourself" series. It will be released on September 18 at 6 P.M. KST along with a music video for a track off the effort, "DNA". The mini album marks BTS' second record to be released in the U.S. following "Wings". In February, the group released the repackaging version of "Wings" titled "You Never Walk Alone".

The "Love Yourself" campaign officially began in May when Rap Monster made a cryptic statement during his speech when receiving Top Social Artist Award at Billboard Music Awards. He said at that time, "Remember what we say: Love myself, love yourself."
