The hotel heiress believed that because of her infamous sex tape, she would 'always be judged and thought as whatever they say' about her.

AceShowbiz - Paris Hilton wanted to be treated like royalty, but her dream was crushed when her infamous sex tape with ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon surfaced back in 2004. Speaking to Marie Claire magazine for its September issue, the 36-year-old socialite claimed that she could have been like Princess Diana if it weren't for the tape.
"It's really hurtful, because my whole life I really looked up to Princess Diana, all these elegant, amazing woman, and I feel like [Salomon] just took that all away from me," she shared. "I could have been like that, but because of that tape, I will always be judged and thought of as whatever they say about me because of a private moment between my boyfriend and me."
Paris admitted that the sex tape was one of her biggest regrets in life. "I wish I had never met him," she added. "That is actually the one regret in my life. I wish that I had never met that guy. I could not leave my house for months. I was so depressed, humiliated. I didn't want to be seen in public."
The "House of Wax" actress also dished on Donald Trump's comments about her sex tape, saying that she wasn't creeped out by the fact that the controversial president once watched it. "It was on Howard Stern, so I feel that anyone that's on the show, Howard just loves to say weird things and people say things that they normally wouldn't say. It wasn't creepy at all," she explained. "He's not like that at all, he's always been respectful."
Paris continued to defend her family friend, claiming that all the women who accused Trump of doing sexual assault only wanted fame and money. "They want to get money or get paid to not say anything or get a settlement when nothing really happened," she said. "I don't believe any of that, and I'm sure they were trying to be with him, too. Because a lot of women, I've seen, like him because he's wealthy and he's charming and good-looking, so I feel like a lot of these girls just made the story up."
