Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have always made it known that they remain close since announcing split in 2015. The friendly exes recently were photographed reuniting for a family dinner with their three kids in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday, August 13.
The 44-year-old actor brought along his kids, 11-year-old Violet, 8-year-old Seraphina and 5-year-old Samuel, and his estranged wife to Pizzana to enjoy some quality time. It marks the very first time for the "Justice League" star to reunite with the "Alias" alum after going public with his new girlfriend Lindsay Shookus.
During the outing, Ben donned a tee and black bomber jacket and completed the look with black pants and gray sneakers. Radiant as ever, Jennifer opted for a black tank top and denim jeans. Meanwhile, the kids looked adorable in colorful outfits.
Jen proved herself as a doting mom as she was seen carrying Samuel on her back with one of her hands holding a frozen yogurt cup. At one point, Ben was also seen carrying Samuel, who seemingly was sleepy.
While co-parenting is good, X17Online reported that Ben looked a little uninvolved during the family outing. The site further stated that "Ben was checking his phone and had a smug look on his face. You couldn't tell if he was annoyed at having to do family dinner or if he was uncomfortable with his kids after having officially jumped ship on the family."
