Halle Berry didn't hesitate to showcase her natural beauty. The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actress went makeup-free and let her natural curls loose during a night out in West Hollywood on Thursday, August 10.

In some photos obtained by Daily Mail, Halle was donning a floral dress which she paired with strappy sandals. The "Kidnap" star completed her look with a necklace and a nude handbag. Her features still stood out although she didn't wear any makeup during the outing. Halle looked relaxed as she left Coronet Club with her pal.

Although Halle always looks confident with herself, she and her sister used to be bullied at school. "[Halle's mother] was so horrified by what she saw at the school, the violence and all of a sudden it hit her. So, she moved us out of that neighborhood," she said in an interview with PEOPLE.

"While we got taken out of imminent danger, we also got taken out of what was normal for us, and now all of a sudden, we were in an all-white school with all-white kids, like 3 out of 2500 students," she continued. "Because my mother was white and my father was black, we got called Oreos and names, and kids just didn't understand, so we were different. We were the brunt of a lot of jokes."

However, the bullying only made Halle stronger. "So, I think my need to please and my desire to achieve was because I was constantly trying to prove that I was as good as the other white students," she shared. "I felt very 'less than,' and I thought, 'If I can beat them at everything, then I can be as good as them.' "
