The 12-year-old girl took the stage with OneRepublic to honor her late father and the Linkin Park frontman with a soulful performance of 'Hallelujah'.

Nearly three months since Chris Cornell's death, the late singer's 12-year-old daughter Toni has taken the stage on "Good Morning America" to pay tribute to her father. She melted the crowd's hearts as she delivered a heartbreaking performance of "Hallelujah" with the help of OneRepublic. The performance was also to honor Linkin Park's late vocalist Chester Bennington.
"It's an honor to perform this for my dad and Chester and to sing for them," Toni said before the performance. Meanwhile, OneRepublic's frontman Ryan Tedder said of "Hallelujah", "Chester sang this at Chris' funeral, and this is arguably one of the greatest songs written in the last 50 years. It's a very special song to us, and I think to most people and especially to Toni as well." The audience later broke into tears as the two belted out the classic hit.
Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington had been friends for years. The pair had hit the road on tour and performed together many times in mid-2000s. Following Chris' death, Chester wrote a heartfelt letter that read, "I'm still weeping, with sadness, as well as gratitude for having shared some very special moments with you and your beautiful family."
Their deaths have hit the music industry hard. Chris passed away on May 18 in a hotel room in Detroit. The Audioslave and Soundgarden frontman's death was ruled a suicide by hanging. Meanwhile, Chester was found dead at his home in California on July 20. His death was also ruled a suicide by hanging.
