NBC is not done yet with "Will & Grace" revival. The network announced on Thursday, August 3 at the Television Critics Association summer press tour that the revival was picked up for a 13-episode second season on the network.

"There's been such an outpouring of love from the fans," NBC Entertainment chairman Greenblatt said. "We're a very grateful network and we're more than thrilled to have this show for a minimum of two seasons."

During the panel, the cast and creators of the comedy revealed that they felt like being right back at home when they had their first table read for season 1 on Wednesday, August 2. Thus, doing another season was definitely a seamless fit. "It felt good. Why wouldn't we want to do this?" said original creator David Kohan, who would serve as showrunner and executive producer alongside Max Mutchnick.

Star Debra Messing added, "We all came together and read and it felt like coming home. We laughed so hard. For the last year, it's been a confusing time and I haven't laughed very much, and to come back together and to laugh out loud and to be surprised by one another and to have new stories to tell and to have another opportunity to do it, it's a no-brainer."

In addition to the season 2 renewal, NBC announced that it added four more episodes to the first season of the revival. Instead of 12 episodes, the first season of "Will & Grace" revival would have 16 episodes. Combined with the show's original run of 194 episodes, the two new seasons would bring the show to a total of 223 episodes.

Starring Debra, Sean Hayes, Megan Mullally and Eric McCormack, "Will & Grace" revival will premiere on Thursday, September 28 at 9 P.M. on NBC.
