50 Cent is upset over Starz's treatment of its one of its highest-rated dramas, following disagreement between showrunner Courtney Kemp Agboh and the network about episode number.

50 Cent lashed out at Starz in an Instagram rant. The "Power" star, who also executive produces the show, expressed his disappointment at the network's treatment of his show and threatened to leave the series.
The rapper, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, posted on Monday, July 31, "I woke up feeling a little different about POWER this morning . If the biggest show on your net work doesn't mean anything, what does your network mean STARZ? I'm taking my talents to south beach f**k this."
So what happened between 50 Cent and Starz? While the rapper didn't detail the problem and the network has not commented on his rant, showrunner Courtney Kemp Agboh recently told EW that there was a disagreement between the producers and the cable channel about episode number for the season. Agboh said the jam-packed sixth episode that aired Sunday night was supposed to be broken into two.
"We were going to do two separate episodes: One was going to be Ghost, Kanan, Tariq, Jukebox, and the kidnapping; and one was going to be just Tommy on his journey to Chicago and what happens there," Agboh explained. "Unfortunately, Starz would not give us the extra episode. I asked them for 12 episodes for season 4 and they would not do it. So because they would not do it, we had to make it one episode."
This is not the first time 50 Cent has threatened to leave the show. He has also slammed the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for the lack of nomination for "Power" at the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
