AceShowbiz - The first poster for "American Horror Story: Cult" is literally buzzing. FX has unveiled the official artwork for the next installment of the horror anthology series, depicting a woman with a pale face. The top side of her head is removed and instead of a brain, it reveals a bee hive oozing honey inside.
This is in line with a previous photo shared by co-creator Ryan Murphy which showed a man covered in honey bees. It's still unclear, though, how bees are related to the subtitle "Cult" and the storyline of the seventh season.
Meanwhile, a newly-released promo features a clown emerging from bubbles in water. Titled "Bubble Bath", it arrives with a caption which reads, "Know what's below."
"AHS" season 7 will revolve around the 2016 U.S. election and feature a character based on President Donald Trump. It is expected to kick off on the election night, "illuminating and highlighting people who don't have a voice in our culture -- people who are ignored by the current administration and who are afraid and feel terrorized that their lives are going to be taken away."
Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Billie Lourd, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman, Colton Haynes and Lena Dunham are confirmed to star. Recently, Murphy revealed that Paulson and Peters would play a couple named Ally and Kai.
The seventh season of "AHS" will premiere September 5 on FX.
