Matt Damon Stands Up Against Mobsters in 'Suburbicon' First Trailer
Movie

Gardner Lodge's (Damon) peaceful life is spoiled after his wife was killed and now the mob wants to harm his son.

AceShowbiz - Matt Damon reunites with George Clooney in a dark comedy, "Suburbicon", which has Clooney serving behind the lens. The first trailer for the movie sees Damon as Gardner Lodge, a husband and father in the peaceful town of Suburbicon whose life is turned upside down after his wife is murdered by a mob.

Now living with his sister-in-law (Julianne Moore) while getting through the grief, Gardner is forced to make a bad decision when the mob tries to kill his son. He turns into a cold-blooded person and goes after mobsters who ruined his life.

According to the official synopsis, "Suburbicon is a peaceful, idyllic suburban community with affordable homes and manicured lawns...the perfect place to raise a family, and in the summer of 1959, the Lodge family is doing just that. But the tranquil surface masks a disturbing reality, as husband and father Gardner Lodge must navigate the town’s dark underbelly of betrayal, deceit, and violence. This is a tale of very flawed people making very bad choices. This is Suburbicon."

Clooney co-wrote the script along with the Coen brothers and Grant Heslov. Also starring Oscar Isaac, Noah Jupe, Josh Brolin, Glenn Fleshler and more, the R-rated movie is set to open in U.S. theaters on October 27.
