The eight-minute video also features a young boy singing Nina Simone's "Feeling Good" and a scene taken from 1983's documentary starring Eartha Kitt titled "All by Myself: The Eartha Kitt Story", in which the late singer/actress talks about love and compromise. The video concludes with footage of Blue Ivy rapping on the album's bonus track "Blue's Freestyle/We Family".

As previously reported, "4:44" is an emotional song which shows Jay-Z's vulnerable side as he apologizes to his wife for cheating on her. He said of the track, "I woke up, literally, at 4:44 in the morning, 4:44 A.M., to write this song. So it became the title of the album and everything. It's the title track because it's such a powerful song, and I just believe one of the best songs I've ever written."

The clip for "4:44" follows up "The Story of O.J." and "Episode One: Footness for 'The Story of O.J.' ", which features Kendrick Lamar, Will Smith, Chris Rock and more speaking on racism in the United States.
