AceShowbiz - Kate Beckinsale is reportedly dating a much younger guy. The 43-year-old actress was caught on camera passionately kissing a 21-year-old actor/comedian Matt Rife. They packed on PDA outside of Villa Lounge in West Hollywood, California on Tuesday, June 20.
While the couple kept mum on their romance rumors, Rife posted a cryptic message on Instagram. In a new deleted picture, he posed next to a Senior Citizens Center sign with a message, "Age is just a number. Find someone you love, and take their breath away...even if that means putting a kink in their oxygen tank cord. #LifeAlertTypeOfLove."
Beckinsale and Rife reportedly met through a mutual friend. A source told Entertainment Tonight that they're "officially boyfriend and girlfriend." The insider said, "They quickly started flirting, went on their first date and it's continued since." The source added, "He is very mature for his age and is a great guy."
Kate Beckinsale split from director Len Wiseman in 2015 after 11 years of marriage. The actress has no child with the helmer but she shares an 18-year-old daughter, Lily, from her previous relationship with actor Michael Sheen. Rumor has it, her family approves of her new boyfriend.
"Everyone in Kate's circle loves Matt and are so supportive of this relationship," the source claimed. "He really is the sweetest guy and makes her so happy! Her entire family thinks he is the nicest and most lovely person."
