The recently teased return of a familiar face came early on "Fear the Walking Dead" season 3. [SPOILER ALERT!] Daniel Salazar (Ruben Blades) appeared toward the end of episode 3 that aired Sunday, June 11, after he was last seen in season 2 finale and was presumed dead.
He gave Strand water and told him, "I told you, I'd be your guardians angel." Picking up where the latest episode left off, a clip for the next episode reveals Strand's reaction after meeting Daniel again. "Oh, my angel of death," Strand exclaims.
The first thing Daniel wants to know is the fate of his daughter. After Strand tells him that Ofelia is alive and has left the compound with Madison and Alicia, Strand asks Daniel to get him out of the prison in exchange for he taking Daniel to Ofelia.
Another sneak peek for the said outing hints that Daniel doesn't accept the offer. "You will rot here," he threatens Strand. The preview also sees how Daniel has changed as he's involved in fights both with another guy and with walkers.
Titled "100", the new episode airs Sunday, June 18 at 9/8c on AMC. According to the official synopsis, "a mysterious character searches for purpose and becomes tied to the struggle over an important resource in the apocalypse."
