Is the longtime feud between exes Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt finally over? According to a new report from Life & Style, the newly-sober actor has apologized to his ex-wife for "all the heartbreak" he caused during their marriage, and she allegedly has accepted the peace offering.

"She was incredibly receptive to the amends he was making," a source says of Jennifer. "She told him she forgives him and to focus on the future." The news outlet then alleges that Brad "is making a lot of changes to his personal life, and his former love is definitely taking notice."

According to the source, the "Office Christmas Party" actress came away "with a whole new attitude toward Brad." Jennifer "actually vowed to start over with him as a genuine friend," the insider says, before confirming that "his apology came as a bit of a shock, as it's out of character."

"Brad apologized for all the heartbreak," explains the insider. "He doesn't usually open up like that, but through therapy and recovery, he's learned to express his feelings." The source adds that the "War Machine" actor "addressed all the hurt he caused her."

In a recent interview with GQ, Brad opened up about the major changes he's made in his life since becoming sober. "You know, I just started therapy," he told the mag. "I love it...Personally, I can't remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn't boozing or had a spliff, or something."

"And you realize that a lot of it is, um - cigarettes, you know, pacifiers," the father of six added. "And I'm running from feelings. I'm really, really happy to be done with all of that."
