The Internet went into a frenzy last week after rumor of Georgina Rodriguez being pregnant with Cristiano Ronaldo's baby surfaced online. However, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, the mother of the Portuguese ace, shut down the rumor.

Speaking to Portuguese magazine Flash (via The Sun), she dubbed the rumor "nonsense." She went on saying, "It's just a hand on the belly, and as far as I know, Cristiano will not be a father again."

However, she added that she indeed hoped that Cristiano would have more children. "He wants to be a father again, now that Cristiano has money, he can raise more children as well," she said. Ronaldo has one child, named Cristiano Jr, from a previous relationship with an unknown woman.

The rumor started when Ronaldo posted a picture of himself and his brunette girlfriend on Instagram. In the first ever coupled-up photo, Rodriguez was seen sporting a suspicious-looking tummy, which made fans speculate that they were expecting their first child together.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez first met in central Madrid last June when he was shopping at a Gucci store. They went public with their relationship in November. They made their red carpet debut as a couple at the FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January.
