Ed Sheeran is reportedly going to quit music to live a "normal life." Although he loves music deeply, the English singer may step out of the spotlight for an indefinite period of time once he settles down and starts a family.

A source close to Ed told Daily Star, "Ed has pretty much achieved everything there is to achieve in music." The source added, "He absolutely loves what he does and is riding the wave of his success at the moment, but at the same time he wants a more normal life."

Ed seems ready to walk away from showbiz for the sake of his future family. "When or if he gets married he wants to put his wife and kids first and not his career. If that means going AWOL for years then so be it," the source further explained.

The 26-year-old singer will hit the road for the next six months on his tour. The source believes that Ed is going to marry his girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn, and that the next six months are going to be a crucial time for their relationship. "The big test is if the relationship survives this album and the tour," the source said, before adding, "When they got together Ed was on his year off but every day in his schedule for the next year is practically full."
