The former 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star reveals that her son Kash is currently recovering in hospital after suffering 'very traumatic injuries' from a dog attack.

Kim Zolciak's 4-year-old son Kash was rushed to hospital on Saturday, April 22 after being bitten by a dog. The "Don't Be Tardy..." star took to her Instagram page on Sunday to give update on Kash's condition and share a picture of the boy lying in a hospital bed.
"I don't know where to start. The last 14hrs of our lives has been a living nightmare," she wrote. "My sweet @kashbiermann was bit by a dog and had very traumatic injuries. I've never prayed so hard, or been so scared in my life."
She added, "My husband, our daughters, Kj, Tracey, his nanny, Michael Beck and everyone close to us all pulled together and held each other up. Kash was in the operating room for a couple hours and now we are praying for a quick speedy recovery."
Her Instagram followers flooded the comment section with wishes for speedy recovery. "What a nightmare! Praying for for sweet boy!" one wrote. Another added, "Praying for healing and peace. What a horrific ordeal for all of you. God be with you."
Kim didn't reveal how the incident happened nor mentioned the dog who attacked her son. She and her husband Kroy Bierman have a rescue mutt named Sinn.
Following the ordeal, the 38-year-old reality TV star canceled her scheduled appearance on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" Sunday. "Due to this I will not be on WWHL tonight but will do my best to make it up very soon! Thank you for all your prayers and most importantly Thank you God for your protection ... A very special Thank you to my incredible medical team! A few days in the hospital and we will be back home," she concluded the Instagram post.
