AceShowbiz - Only week two into the competition, one man is down on "Dancing with the Stars" season 24. Maksim Chmerkovskiy wasn't able to dance on Monday night, March 27 after injuring her leg during rehearsal. With the Ukrainian-born dancer sidelined, his partner Heather Morris danced with Alan Bersten.
The injury was announced on Monday morning on "Good Morning America". "I think something went down," he said after screaming in pain in rehearsal footage. "It's my calf muscle. F**k. It just felt like something hit it...I can't stand on it," he added. "This is not good."
He also took to Instagram to give fans update about his condition. "Sorry I was MIA. Tune in to @dancingabc today and all will be explained," so he wrote. "Tough show for #teamMaksimumHeat and @heatherrelizabethh would have to hold it down for both of us. Please show her your love and support while I work on getting my ass back to the ballroom. #DidNotSeeThisComing #WillBeBackBetterThanEver."
