It seems that there is no more bad blood between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. According to a new report from PEOPLE, the former power couple has finally talked to each other directly, six months since their bitter split last September.
The "Allied" actor is "much happier" now that he and the 41-year-old actress are no longer at war. A source says in the new issue of the publication, the 53-year-old actor is "very relieved that things are not playing out in public anymore."
It's been two months since the exes hired a private judge to deal with their divorce and custody issues privately. It's said that the negotiations are ongoing. The source reveals, "It was a rough time, but they were able to resolve it," adding, "This is a work in progress."
The "Maleficent" actress once said Brad's a "wonderful" father to their kids. The source adds that "he's always been extremely positive about how Angie's a good mother, and the goal was to resolve everything for the kids and the whole family, and they're working toward that."
Brad has been able to spend more time with his children, including Maddox,15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8. "He is spending more time with the kids when they are in L.A.," says another source close to the "Fury" actor. "He has even spent some time with Maddox and Pax. Things are definitely calming down."
