Kim Kardashian's Paris Robbery Helps Her to Have 'Better Perspective' and 'Positive Change'

A source close to Kim says that the reality star 'knows that if the robbery never happened, these changes wouldn't have happened either.'

AceShowbiz - It took some time for Kim Kardashian to be back on the spotlight following the infamous robbery that happened during Paris Fashion Week. However, some sources revealed that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was still vulnerable and cries about burglary.

"Kim has come a long way from the robbery but that said, it's a daily struggle to move past it and she probably never will be past it entirely," said a source close to Kim. Another source added, "Kim still speaks of the robbery as the most horrific experience she has ever had" and "is still vulnerable and cries about the robbery."

However, the bad experience reportedly helped the reality star to have better perspective and shifted her focus back to her marriage and two children, three-year-old North West and fifteen-month-old Saint West. "While she would never wish the experience on anyone, it put things into better perspective for her - what really matters and that family comes first," said the first source.

Addressing Kanye West's hospitalization that happened right after the robbery, the insider said, "To have the Kanye situation happen right after was just the worst timing." The insider added, "She wasn't emotionally equipped to handle that at the time and it strained their relationship and put a ton of stress and anxiety back into her life."

The source went on explaining, "They've worked through a lot of that and have gotten even closer. It was hard to relive it for the show but in a way it ended up being cathartic and helped her work through and process it even more."

The second source also said that although the "robbery really changed" the daughter of Kris Jenner, she looked at the shift in her personal life as a "positive change" and she's currently enjoying her new routine. "She very much likes her new normal. She knows that if the robbery never happened, these changes wouldn't have happened either," said the second source.

The insider continued, "She is taking the horrific experience and focusing on the good aftermath. Before the robbery, Kim was often stressed out about her family/work balance. She many times felt that work overtook and she often missed her kids." The source added, "This all changed after the robbery. Now, Kim very much enjoys being a mom first. Work comes second. She loves being at home with her kids and is much happier."

Kim previously opened up about the Paris robbery in the latest episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". She said that she was mentally prepped to be raped and killed during the robbery. She also added that she just prayed Kourtney Kardashian was going to have a normal life after she saw her dead body on the bed.
