Details of 'Wonder Woman' Intriguing Action Scene Emerge
Movie

The scene has been briefly featured in 'Wonder Woman' trailer, which sees a glimpse of Diana Prince fighting the entire battalion of German soldiers during WWI.

AceShowbiz - In "Wonder Woman" trailer, there is a scene in which Gal Gadot's Diana Prince decides to fight the entire battalion of German soldiers during World War I. Collider has visited "Wonder Woman" filming set and learned the details of the scene, which they dub to be better than anything fans have seen in DC Comics.

The description reads, "The scene begins with Wonder Woman, Trevor, and their crew going through the trenches, trying to figure out how to get around the fighting. Wonder Woman is confused about why they're trying to avoid battle, and learns from a scared civilian woman than other civilians have been forced into slavery by the German troops. While Trevor tries to make the case that they need to stay on mission, that's not good enough for Wonder Woman."

"She climbs out of the trench and starts charging at the enemy line," reads the description. "The German troops fire on her, but she deflects bullets with her bracelets and then deflects mortars with her shield. Trevor realizes that Wonder Woman is drawing the enemy fire, so he and his fellow soldiers climb out of the trench and follow Wonder Woman into battle. The scene ends with Wonder Woman, Trevor, and the troops breaching the German line and taking down a bunch of German soldiers," the description further explains.

According to Collider, the scene is better than any scenes in superhero movies, in a way that "it's a character-driven moment where the action on screen follows the best version of the hero."

"Wonder Woman" is set to be released in U.S. theaters on June 2. Other cast members include Chris Pine, David Thewlis, Robin Wright, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Ewan Bremner, Elena Anaya and Lisa Loven Kongsli. Thewlis reportedly willl portray Ares, Diana Prince's enemy in the movie.
