New set photos of Netflix's upcoming superhero series "The Punisher" have surfaced. Some of the images feature Jon Bernthal's character Frank Castle getting into a trouble with a local law enforcement.
One of the images shows Bernthal's Castle tussling with the police officers and commandeering one of their cars. Sporting a black jacket and black boots, Castle is apparently on a mission to find the truth about the murder of his family.

"The Punisher" also stars Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, Michael Nathanson as Sam Stein, Daniel Webber as Lewis Walcott, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro and Jaime Ray Newman as Sarah Lieberman.

"The Punisher" is expected to premiere later this year on Netflix. Steve Lightfoot ("Hannibal") will serve as showrunner and he will executive produce the series alongside Marvel Studios' Head of Television Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory ("Daredevil", "Marvel's Jessica Jones", "Luke Cage", "Marvel's The Defenders").
