The 'Just Give Me a Reason' singer took to Instagram to squash claim that the Mother Monster's aerial stunt at the Super Bowl was a rip off of her signature move.

Lady GaGa wowed hundreds of millions of viewers by flying down from the roof of Houston's NRG Stadium at the Super Bowl LI on Sunday night, February 5. However, the Mother Monster has since faced backlash over her aerial stunt, as some of Pink's fans are accusing her of "copying" the signature move of the "Just Give Me a Reason" singer.
A number of Pink's fans immediately took to Twitter to slam GaGa. "Y'all, Pink is PISSED that Lady Gaga copied her acroyoga gimmick," one of her fans tweeted, comparing the "Million Reasons" hitmaker's acrobatic moves to those of the 37-year-old pop star.

Pink's husband, Carey Hart, even appeared to throw shade at GaGa prior to her performance at the halftime show. "I bet all the Little Munsters are super excited for half time," he tweeted, purposefully misspelling Monsters. When asked by a fan if he and his wife were excited as well to watch GaGa's performance, he responded, "I'm excited for the commercials."

However, Pink seemed to be fine with GaGa doing the similar moves to hers. The mother of two took to Instagram to squash the claim. "Let's quash this before it even has a chance to be a thing," she wrote. "Lady Gaga killed it yesterday. Her voice was powerful and beautiful, her outfits were on point, choreography stellar, her heart was in it and she sang about love and inclusiveness, all in front of millions and millions of people."
"Let's celebrate a woman who has the guts to jump off a roof and stand up there in the first place," she continued in the Monday, February 6 post. "Who cares if I flew first? Cause I didn't! Cirque and Peter Pan been in the air for years." She then turned her attention to politics as saying, "Now can we get back to the real controversy? The one where our so called leader is stripping our humanity away minute by minute."
