AceShowbiz - "Supergirl" announces an exciting new addition for the next episodes of the current sophomore installment. The DC superhero series is confirmed to have former "Hercules" star Kevin Sorbo as a new mysterious character to antagonize Melissa Benoist's Kara Danvers.
"Since his days as Hercules, Kevin Sorbo has brought such a strong presence to the screen and we couldn't be more excited to have him join us on Supergirl," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg confirms the casting as quoted by Entertainment Weekly.
Sorbo is going to join Teri Hatcher. It's unclear what character the "Lois & Clark" alum will be playing in the second season, but she is booked for a multi-episode arc and expected to be the new big baddie. It's unknown either whether the two villains will cross paths.
