After being nominated for Oscars' Best Supporting Actress, "Moonlight" star Naomie Harris is tapped to join Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in New Line's "Rampage". The movie is based on a 1980s arcade game of the same name.

While plot details haven't been announced yet, the film will feature three monstrously transformed creatures which are also featured in the game. Besides "Rampage", Harris' other upcoming film is "Jungle Book: Origins", in which she will play opposite Benedict Cumberbatch and Christian Bale.

Beau Flynn and Hiram Garcia will serve as the producers for "Rampage", and Brad Peyton serves as producer and director. Flynn and Peyton previously worked with Johnson on "San Andreas" and "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island". The original script will be written by Ryan Engle, with a revision by Adam Sytikiel. Marcus Viscidi, Jeff Fierson and Dany Garcia will executive produce.

"Rampage" is set to be released in the U.S. on April 20, 2018.
