Val Chmerkovskiy Cancels 'DWTS' Tour Appearance as Peta Murgatroyd Is Giving Birth 'Very Soon'

Val took to Instagram to apologize that he wouldn't be able to attend the Richmond, Virginia, leg of the tour, as his brother Maksim and Maks' fiancee will be welcoming their baby 'very soon.'

But along with the good news, the dancing pro apologized that he wouldn't be able to attend the Richmond, Virginia, leg of the "Dancing With the Stars" tour, as his brother Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Maks' fiancee Peta Murgatroyd will be welcoming their baby "very soon."

"Family means the most to me so I'm with them now," the 30-year-old dancer captioned a video he shared on Instagram on Tuesday, December 3. "Sadly I'll be missing the show tonight in Richmond but I'll be back in Lancaster tomorrow. Love y'all. and appreciate you understanding. I'll make it up to you."

"Richmond, Virgina - I love you guys," the "DWTS" alum said in the video. "I unfortunately can't be there at the show tonight. As all of you know, I'm expected to be an uncle very soon. My sister-in-law Peta Murgatroyd is literally delivering the baby as soon I'm done with this video, hopefully."

"But I'll be back on the road tomorrow and somehow I promise to make it up to you, Richmond," Val added. "Thank you so much and enjoy the show."

Maksim is also gearing up to welcome his first child with his 30-year-old fiancee. The 36-year-old dancer posted on Instagram a photo of the soon-to-be-mom applying mascara to her lashes while sitting in a hospital chair. "But first...a little make up," he captioned the snap.
